DOK Market

The DOK Market is a digital film library available during the DOK Leipzig festival week.

It offers accredited professional guests the opportunity to view all documentary and animated films featured at the festival. Additionally we show around 160 further new documentaries with international appeal, recommended by the selection committee, by our partner institutions and submitted by renowned world sales companies.

DOK Market 2013:

Thanks for a great festival week and being part of it!

415 documentary and animated films from 69 countries
429 viewers at the DOK Market

3427 film screenings
1389 hours of people screening films at 30 booths
44 one-on-one meetings with 11 experts at the DOK Market face to face sessions

In 2013, we were happy to continue our partnership with Switzerland (Vision du réel and Swiss Films), Czech Republic (East Silver and Institute of Documentary Film), Poland (Krakow Film Foundation) and Canada (Hot Docs). This year we entered into new partnerships with Israel (docaviv) and China (CNEX). Moreover we were proud to present the results of our training initiatives, DOK.Incubator and DOCWOK, which support documentaries in post-production.

We hope to welcome you next year again in Leipzig!
