Cross Media Hands On -
A case study on "netwars/ out of CTRL" & more

Saturday, 2 November, 9:30 - 11:00
Baustelle / Schauspiel Leipzig

The Berlin based production company Filmtank offers an exclusive preview of their latest transmedia production in progress called „netwars / out of CTRL" (www.netwars-project.com). It's a fact-based cross platform project, which explores the impending threat of cyberwarfare in today's world. Through a TV documentary, an interactive web doc, a graphic novel app and a TV series, „netwars / out of CTRL" focuses on backgrounds, causes and possible consequences of virtual attacks and allows the user to immerse in the complex operations of undercover cyber attacks and to experience how vulnerable digital infrastructures of today really are!

The producers present the concept and structure of „netwars / out of CTRL", give insight into the process of realisation and explain the production line and new strategies for collaborations. The project will be launched in late autumn 2013 and together with further leading European transmedia producers we will talk about how to start and structure a transmedia production on a solid basis, how to put the creative team together, where financing can be found and who are the promising partners for future collaboration.

The session will be held in English.

Accredited guests welcome!
