Frédéric Dubois is the editor of the Internet Policy Review, a news and analysis service of the Humboldt Institute for Internet and Society. He worked as a reporter and producer of interactive documentary, among other for the NFB and ARTE. He co-edited two books about media and journalism: EXTRACTION! (2007) and Autonomous Media (2005). His current project is a scroll documentary about resettlement in a German coal mining area.

Creative director and author Lena Thiele designs and produces media formats in the field of film, online, mobile and games since 2003. 2008 she co-founded a Berlin based games studio. Since 2010 she is focusing on international transmedia productions in the field of documentary and fiction. Her last interactive documentary FAREWELL COMRADES! INTERACTIVE, produced by Gebrueder Beetz Filmproduktion, in coproduction with Artline Films, ARTE France, ARTE G.E.I.E. and ZDF Germany, has been awarded the FOCAL INTERNATIONAL AWARD 2012 and nominated for international awards like the DEUTSCH-FRANZÖSISCHER JOURNALISTENPREIS or PRIX EUROPA. Since 2012 Lena Thiele joined the Berlin based media company Miiqo Studios UG as consultant and creative director.

In addition she works as a lecturer and trainer at international programs and universities like INTERNATIONAL FILMSCHOOL COLOGNE, TORINO FILM LAB, NETLAB, iDOCS or HFF MÜNCHEN, and as consultant for the media industry. Lena Thiele holds a Master of Arts Degree from the University of Arts, Berlin in Communication in Social and Economic Contexts with focus on experimental media design and cinema studies. Furthermore she was juror in the digital program (non-fiction category) for the 2012 International Digital Emmy® Award and obtained her coaching certificate last year.

Adnaan Wasey is director of POV Digital, the Webby Award-winning interactive department of the acclaimed PBS documentary series POV, and owner of the software company Science Bistro, which makes social apps for businesses. As a former editor and manager, Adnaan has contributed to some of the nation's most prestigious news and information brands, including PBS NewsHour and WNYC New York Public Radio, and was a founding editor at the local digital news organization DNAinfo. He organizes the POV Hackathon, where filmmakers and coders get in the same room to re-invent the documentary for the web.

Juliane Schulze is Senior Partner at peacefulfish, providing business services to the audiovisual industries. As Executive Advisor she holds an extensive cross-industrial knowledge, specialising in film financing, business consulting for film production companies, strategic advisory for funding institutions and media regulatory authorities. She works on several projects for the European Commission and MEDIA and developed several international positioning strategies for countries and regions e.g. in Asia, Europe and in the United Arab Emirates. Juliane lectures at the Media Business School, taught at the Binger and Torino Filmlabs and speaks at the Maia Workshops, Cartoon Movie and Cartoon Finance and at various international film festivals and business summits. From 2010-2012 she was Director of the Multi-Platform Business School and is currently Director of the investor training programmes ENTER EUROPE and ENTER UK and manages the screen-tourism project EuroScreen (INTERREG IVC) for peacefulfish.

Noam Roubah is a digital and interactive producer. For ten years he worked on documentaries about life style, music, art and culture as cinematographer and editor. While working on portraits of american undergound directors such as John Waters, Larry Clark or Paul Morrissey, he met with Jonathan Caouette, director of «Tarnation». For 5 years they collaborated on many projects like Caouette's «Walk Away Renée», presented in Cannes in 2011. In 2009 he founded Darjeeling with Marc Lustigman – a production company specialized in new media.

Bertram Gugel studied Communication and Media Sciences at the University of Leipzig. He is developing new products and distribution strategies as an independent consultant for internet video companies and TV stations alike. Previously he worked for Axel Springer and Deutsche Telekom in the Video and IPTV space. As a blogger he is covering the convergence between the internet and TV since 2005 writing about all things where TV, movies & the internet collide.

Kay Meseberg is chief editor of the new ARTE-platform ARTE Future since 2013. Prior to that he worked as online editor and TV author for the ZDF-program "Frontal 21" and was head of the editorial department in the production house 2470media. He won the Grimme Online Award in 2012 and 2007, won the German Reporter Award with the team of 2470media in 2010, and in 2007 he won the Austrian State Prize for Multimedia. Together with Carsten Behrendt he followed the Pirate Party, which was represented for the first time in the German parliament on a crossmedia basis. Following, the documentaries "Der Piraten-Hype" (ZDFzoom) and the 45min film "Alles liquid!? – Ein Jahr unter Polit-Piraten" (zdfinfo) were produced. Furthermore Kay is lecturer for cross media amongst others at the Akademie für Publizistik Hamburg.

Laurence Bagot is the co-founder and the co-CEO of narrative, a producing company of web and transmedia documentaries based in Paris. Since 2008, narrative has produced many projects: Webdog for Arte and France Culture, A summer in Algiers  for TV5monde, Portraits of a New World for France Television... as well as projects for museums and institutions. Between 2009 and 2011, Laurence Bagot was a member of the CNC commission for new media. Since 2010, she has been teaching a transmedia workshop at Alba University in Beirut, Lebanon.

Susanna Lotz is an online editor at the Web Department of Arte. After graduating in Art History, she continued her university research by integrating the Dance Lab in Paris 8, working on motion capture in contemporary dance choreographies. Susanna coedited two issues of "Anomalie", a bilingual review exploring different themes in the fields of arts and digital technologies.

Her work included Anomalie #2 "Digital Performance" and Anomalie #3 "Interfaces". She also contributed to the CD-ROM "Le Centre Georges Pompidou: La collection" and "Yves Saint-Laurent: 40 ans de création". Since 2002 Susanna has worked for the Web Department of Arte, where she was recruited to create innovative content for the web. Her teamwork with the commissioning broadcast editors resulted in the project "Gaza-Sderot – Life in spite of everything", or "Farewell Comrades!".

Today Susanna Lotz lives in Berlin, where she collaborates on international transmedia projects. Susanna Lotz coordinates the Development Lab of the i_doc workshop: a project development programme for expanded documentaries, promoted by the Laboratory of Visual Culture (SUPSI) and Visions du Réel.
