Last call for Co-Pro Market Submission

Last call for Co-Pro Market Submission

Deadline for submitting your projects to the DOK Co-Pro Market is getting closer, as August 1 approaches.

Each year 35 projects are selected to present themselves to 70+ potential co-financiers: other producers, funds, broadcasters, sales agents and distributors and organisations who support the production of author-driven creative documentaries over two days of individual meetings.

The final selection for the participating projects will be made by a professional Jury. We are happy to announce, that this year the Jury members are Erik Winker (CORSO Film, Germany), Kathryn Bonnici

(Java Films, France) and Simon Kilmurry (IDA, USA).

Short biographies of the Co-Pro Market jury members:

Erik Winker

For the last 13 years Erik Winker has been producing documentaries for the German and the international market. Films produced by his production company HUPE Film are regularly selected and awarded at international film festivals. Erik Winker is a lector at different film schools and is often invited to be a member of national and international Juries. He is the chairman of the filmmakers' association Filmbüro NW e.V.

Kathryn Bonnici

Kathryn has worked in distribution since 2002. At Java Films, her responsibilities include developing and sourcing documentaries, heading the features department and handling pre-sales. She has previously worked as a tutor at the East Silver Market and sat on the jury or selection committee of HotDocs Deal Makers, Medimed, the Banff Film Festival and the Jihlava Festival.

Simon Kilmurry
