Sinna mann (Angry Man) by Anita Killi (Norway)
This film managed to accurately and empathically convey the experience of domestic violence from a child’s perspective whilst also avoiding sentimentality and cliché. Its strong narrative, evocative animation and powerful images make this an important film.
