The film deals with the subject of child trade which is still highly topical. It raises the question, whether the me-dia tell us the full truth. A ship missed for days and full of children who have been given away by their parents to work elsewhere, as is customary in some poor African families, has been linked with the former football profes-sional Jonathan Akpoborie.

Collages, metaphors, extracts of news broadcasts as well as interviews are the hallmarks of this film. Both the various camera perspectives and the music made by the children themselves create touching scenes. We have chosen especially this film as a prize winner, because it prompts us to think and has made us realize, how many people in the world still suffer.

We recommend this film to other young people, because it has opened our eyes to problems like these and we have been thinking about it for a long time.
