The Jugendstrafvollzugsanstalt Regis-Breitingen (Regis-Breitingen Juvenile Prison) is DOK Leipzig’s most unusual location. The screenings are open to the detainees, the local audience and a limited number of accredited specialist visitors, for whom a return shuttle from Leipzig is provided. Prior registration is required.
A jury of juvenile prisoners will award the prize "Thought Discovery" to one of the main films. The films in consideration were selected by a group of detainees as part of art therapy.
