Jaak Kilmi Estonia

Jaak Kilmi, born in Tallinn in 1973, is a graduate of Tallinn University, where he studied directing. After having produced a number of commercials he switched to short and documentary films and later also realised two feature films. His works enjoy international renown and have won a number of prizes, including the Special Jury Prize at the Moscow International Film Festival for "Revolution of Pigs" in 2004.

In 1998, Paul Sturtz co-founded the Ragtag Film Society with David Wilson, followed in 2000 by the Ragtag Cinema, an independent cinema in Columbia, Missouri, whose mission is to champion film in all its artistic forms and support local artists. In 2004, he co-founded the True/False Film Fest with Wilson and has since served as its co-director.
