Nowadays, everybody has a mobile telephone. And Internet. Pictures from the demonstrations in Tehran after the elections reached us in virtually no time. A direct link between the sender and the addressee. News editors need no longer act as brokers, as "sorting offices". But what does this brave new media world mean to us?
