DOK Exchange

DOK Exchange

This year’s DOK Exchange shifts its focus to VR.

As headset technology has gathered speed in the last years, it has vaulted digital content to new levels of immersion. We, the next generation of pioneers, are developing a new medium. There is no such thing as a construction toolkit for VR and there might not be one in the near future. Every project makes a new contribution to the shape of VR, adding surprising and exciting elements to the ways we can express ourselves. VR simply cannot only be an ‘empathy machine’, it can and must reflect on so much more.

DOK Leipzig has invited guests from the arts, literature, science, and of course film to explore a new level of interdisciplinary exchange. We want you to embrace this diversity. Let’s find ways together to add new layers of texture to VR.
