A unique oppor­tunity At this years DokuFest in Prizren (16.8.-24.8.2014) DOK Leipzig nominates two documentary film projects for the 10th international DOK Leipzig Co-production meeting

Brigid O´Shea, co-production coordinator at DOK Leipzig Industry, will join the Pitching of the Balkan Discoveries development workshop at this years DokuFest in Prizren (Kosovo). From August, 20th until August, 24th various documentary projects with an international potential will be presented at BDC Discoveries 2014, Prizren. DOK Leipzig will honour two of the seven documentary projects with a nomination to participate at DOK Leipzig 10th international Co-Production meeting. This price is a unique opportunity for Balkan filmmakers to get exposed to potential financiers and partners on the international film market.


In July 2014 DOK Leipzig already nominated a project to join the co-production meeting 2014. The documentary film project “El vientre de la ballena” (The Belly of the Whale) directed by Horizoe Garcia Miranda and produced by Ivonne Cotorruelo  was selected at the Pitching of DocMontevideo. Cotorruelo will accompany the DOK Leipzig Industry Delegation to Pizren to present her documentary project in Europe.
