Prizes Awarded for DOK Co-Pro
Throughout the year, our Festival Team attends international festivals, participating in pitching events and forums in our search for new documentary film projects. DOK Leipzig monitors selected festivals and markets for outstanding film projects, inviting the filmmakers to DOK Co-Pro Market in Leipzig (31/10/2016 – 01/11/2016).
The past week has seen the last two DOK Co-Pro Prizewinners presented, during the Balkan Discoveries workshop as a part of Dokufest in Prizen. Four further film projects were also already presented during the Ex Oriente Workshop, Pitching Docs Montevideo, Polish Doc Lab and Zagrebdox Pro. This makes up the total of six participants who will present their work as part of this year’s DOK Co-Pro Market, where they will meet potential co-production partners and financers who promote and support the creative art of documentary film.
