Doc Together Think Tank
Following the launch of Doc Together, a new initiative developed with the Thessaloniki International Documentary Festival, this Think Tank brings together a curated group of professionals for a closed-door, solution-focused discussion on supporting filmmakers at risk.
Born from recognition of recurring barriers, funding gaps, visa restrictions, displacement, and challenges in international markets, the session gathers NGOs, film funds, festivals, lawyers, filmmakers, and industry professionals to share expertise and co-create long-term solutions.
Discussions will focus on funding, mobility, visibility, and resource mapping, addressing filmmakers from regions facing instability, war or crisis, those without access to national funds, displaced filmmakers, and those whose freedom of expression is under threat.
