Martha Orozco

Martha Orozco, born in Mexico City in 1976, developed a passion for short and feature films at an early age and is now a well-known producer. She founded the companies Martfilms and Cienaga Docs, both specialised in documentary film production (“El árbol olvidado”, 2009; “México bárbaro 2010”, 2011; “Die Standing Up”, 2011; “Cuates de Australia”, 2011). She was a participant of the Lübeck TV Business School workshops and has been working as Documentary Film Coordinator at the Centro de Capaticación Cinematográfico in Mexico City since 2008. In 2008 she also founded the Cine-Fábrica de redes, a company dedicated to the education and training of filmmakers in Mexico and Latin America.
