Get your accreditation now for DOK Leipzig 2019
You can now apply for an accreditation as reporting press via our online platform MYDOK. The accreditation process is open until 20 October 2019.
The festival accreditation for reporting press is free of charge. This means that the journalistic publication refers to the 62nd edition of DOK Leipzig and will be published shortly after the festival. Since only a limited number of free accreditations are available, we reserve the right to ask for proof of journalistic work and to reject complimentary applications.
Apart from that, you can get a regular festival accreditation for 140,00 €.
After your accreditation has been confirmed, you’ve got access to a list of our festival guests who have agreed to the publication of their contact details (INDUSTRY GUIDE).
Please note that your accreditation does not automatically grant you admission to the opening event. If you wish to take part in the opening ceremony on 28 October, please send an e-mail to our press office: email@example.com. We will then check our ticket quota and get back to you.
Accredited journalists can pick up their festival passes at the guest desk in the festival centre (Museum der bildenden Künste Leipzig, Katharinenstr. 10). Your press accreditation entitles you to visit all DOK Leipzig Festival film screenings as well as numerous festival events and parts of the DOK Industry programme*. Each accreditation also includes a DOK Leipzig festival catalogue as well as access to the Industry Guide, published in the MYDOK area (neither of which is included in the Single Day Accreditation).
* with the exception of: DOK Co-Pro Market, DOK Exchange, DOK Film Market as well as certain special events (more information to follow).
Accredited guests will also need a valid ticket for the screening they wish to go to in order to gain admission to cinemas. On presentation of your festival pass at one of the DOK ticket offices you will receive a ticket for a maximum of 5 screenings for each day of the festival.
Accredited visitors can pick up their tickets on the day of the screening or on the day before at all DOK ticket offices, as long as stocks last. It is not possible to redeem tickets for screenings that are taking place in parallel. You can log into the filmfinder with your MYDOK account and reserve tickets for the same day as well as the following day. Those reserved tickets musst be collected at the DOK ticket offices. Any reservation will be cancelled 30 minutes prior to the screening.
Seats can only be guaranteed if they are taken 5 minutes before the screening. With the beginning of the screening, tickets expire.
Please note that your accreditation does not grant you automatic access to certain events (more information to follow). If you wish to cover one of these events, please contact us (firstname.lastname@example.org) and we will look into allocation of tickets.
