The film "Loving Vincent" will be shown in Germany for the first time in a special screening prior to its cinema release. This feature-length animated film is based on letters to Van Gogh’s brother and was created using over 65,000 individual oil paintings made in a style emulating the artist’s unique imagery. The story sheds new light on the dramatic circumstances of his life and sudden death from the standpoint of his friends and acquaintances.
