The festival’s video library – DOK Film Market – offers accredited professionals who hold a DOK Film Market Accreditation the opportunity to view all documentary and animated films in the festival’s Official Selection and selected special programmes independently of scheduled screenings. Additionally, we showcase around 120 new and outstanding documentaries with international appeal. These come recommended by the selection committee, our international partners, or are submitted by renowned world sales companies. All presented films have been produced in the course of the past year.
The DOK Film Market Accreditation can be requested by and will be granted only to international TV buyers and commissioning editors, festival programmers, curators, exhibitors, distributors, sales agents and the like. During the festival the video library will be available online and at screening booths in the festival centre. The video library remains accessible online for 6 months after the festival.
The DOK Film Market video library provides filmmakers and rights holders the opportunity to generate interest in their works by decision makers, like buyers, programmers and distributors and get their immediate feedback. From the first day of the festival rights holders can access their films’ screening reports online at any time to access the viewers’ evaluation and get their contact details.
All documentary and animated films selected for the Official Selection will be included in the DOK Film Market video library free of charge. In addition, we invite approximately 120 films selected out of all submissions to be part of the DOK Film Market. If you accept the invitation and want to enter your film in the video library an additional fee applies:
Feature-length films: 120 € (excl. VAT)
Short and Mid-length films up to 39 min: 80 € (excl. VAT)
To encourage rights holders of the additional DOK Film Market titles to come to the festival, take advantage of the DOK Industry activities and network with other industry professionals we grant 50% discount on up to two Festival accreditations.
DOK Industry Programme is co-funded and supported by the Creative Europe MEDIA Programme of the European Union.
