Here are the nominees for the Doc Alliance Awards 2026!

We’re getting excited: on 19 May, the Doc Alliance Awards will be presented in Cannes as part of the Marché du Film industry programme. Two documentary films by emerging European talents will be honored, with prize money of €5,000 for Best Feature and €3,000 for Best Short.

The seven European film festivals that make up the Doc Alliance network, together with guest festival Golden Apricot IFF, have nominated 16 documentaries from their recent programmes. Each festival selected one feature and one short film.

We’re especially thrilled to be in the race with Holler for Service (feature) and Cold Call (short) — fingers crossed for both teams!
