Art is often in the unseen, and in this AR project art is in the motion. Motion is what brings together the changing characters, drawn by exhibition visitors and updated daily. By bringing anyone and everyone’s artwork to the Museum der bildenden Künste Leipzig, this piece challenges the notion of authorship in the art space. Come draw!

An empirical dream of enhanced vision, of seeing with a machine. “Blindspot” is a poetic unfolding of what we could but cannot yet see, filmed using neuromorphic event-based camera systems which are able to visualise beyond our fallible eyes. Unfolding as a dance between human and machine, the film imagines the future of vision as hybridised.

What is sacrificed in the name of progress, and who is the one asked to bear this weight? Reflecting on the devastation European e-waste imposes on Ghana, this work questions what physical matter is sacrificed there to ensure digital experiences here. Created by fashion designer and 3D artist Keke Opata, this piece bridges fashion, technology and visual storytelling.

A cyborg of a film, the work is a living interaction of computer graphics and nature. Shaped in real time by weather patterns, the film’s rhythm and sequencing is tied with planetary data from over forty locations around the world. In the spirit of geomantic practice, this truly magical experience is about listening and reacting to Earth’s stories.

A white model of a home stands broken, shelled out, is re-animated with augmented reality. Through the recollections of two Syrians and a touch of animation, home becomes reconstructed. While this project is tied directly to the war in Syria, the model stands as a universal reminder of the horrors of war in general, as well as the power of memory.

A train ride into abstraction created with increasingly abstract AI-generated imagery, this film is a simple yet mesmerising gesture which explores the essentials of the digital image. Hypnotic and thoroughly immersive, the experience highlights AI images as more than replicas of reality, but rather as abstract and architectural structures to explore.
