Lines that turn into insects, an entire swarm, a landscape – before dissolving once again. Simple elements produce fleeting meaning in this film which celebrates drawing.
The ingredients are sugar, silicon and plastic filaments. While making a zoetrope jelly, the director reflects on the birth of her daughter and her own excessive perfectionism.
What may be kept, what can go? From a distance, the director is guided through a deserted flat and library. A parkour through the private, along paths of knowledge and guilty pleasures.
