“The International Programme 1, ‘New Departures’, is full of great animation techniques, absurd stories of crashing cosmonauts and extortionists, and innovative image ideas. Absolutely worth seeing and eye-opening.”

“The Animadoc Programme 2, ‘Biographies’, shows how powerful animation in documentary filmmaking can be. The life stories are touching, even if the images are animated. They protect the protagonists and reveal emotional worlds that we could only otherwise imagine.”

“Wendy Morris and her film programme, ‘Animating history’, will offer the audience a whole new perspective on the presentation of history and hopefully stimulate discussion with the filmmaker. With the help of her own films, she will explain her career path and the inspirations on the way.”

“Animation from Germany is what you’ll find in New German Animation 2, Off to Adventure. Bold and innovative, it doesn’t have to shy away from international comparison. The programme presents films from seasoned filmmakers like Franz Winzentsen or Jochen Kuhn (who just received the German Short Film Award for the film Sunday 3), but also from university graduates (Half you met my Girlfriend, Concerning Dinosaurs, etc.). There is a lot of talent here in the Republic. It’d be nice if there was more work and support for them.”
