What does a fair co-production actually look like? This session introduces the Value-Based Co-Production manual, co-published by IMS and the National Film School of Denmark, and its practical approach to recognising the value each partner brings to a film – beyond financing alone. It invites us to rethink how ownership, rights and revenues are shared in international co-productions, particularly when partners operate in very different production economies.
