DOK Preview International
Spot the most exciting, fresh films seeking gap financing, distribution partners and festival premieres. DOK Leipzig shines a light on one outstanding project from each partner initiative – recognising the catalysing effect of these career-enhancing programmes and industry events. A refresher workshop ahead of the event preps the teams for an inspiring presentation and lively conversation with the moderators Céline Roustan and Seggen Mikael.

Project Selection 2026
Senior curator at Short of the Week, Céline's festival programming experience includes SXSW, TIFF, the Palm Springs Itl FF, Aspen ShortsFest, the San Francisco, Dublin and Leeds Itl FF, more recently IDFA and the Short Films Competition of the Festival de Cannes. Currently director of programming of the Palm Springs ShortFest, she also coordinates the SFC | Rendez-vous industry, leads acquisitions for OUAT Media and a regular mentor for the Doha Film Institute.
Seggen Mikael works freelance as a cultural manager, programmer and writer. She designs (film) programs and social media appearances, curates talks and organises projects with a focus on marginalized people. She is also part of the consulting collective DisChecks. In her work as a programmer and moderator, she mainly focuses on film/art and media, as well as intersectional discrimination, inclusion and equity.
