We are excited to welcome 35 new documentary film projects from across 34 countries. At our DOK Co-Pro Market (27 and 28 October), film teams will meet potential co-production, financing, and distribution partners.

Some of the selected projects take us on journeys of identity and self-discovery, while others explore pressing social and political issues. Water surfaces across multiple projects, opening up new perspectives and narratives. The selection includes documentary features, animated documentaries, and archival films, ranging from works that use archives as material and those that interrogate and reimagine them. The projects span across geographies, coming from across Europe, 4 projects from the Americas, 6 from Asia, and 3 from Africa. 

This year, the projects will be recognised with a total of five awards at the DOK Co-Pro Market: Unifrance Doc Award, the Saxon Award for the Best Documentary Project by a Female Director, the No Nation Films Fellowship Award, the IMAGO Archive Award, and the Jacob Burns Film Center Residency Award.
