In a recurring dream, a woman meets three people again and again: her mother, a friend, and a stranger. In real life she can’t escape her traumatic memories: 25 years ago she was wrongly imprisoned for 18 months. She was released only thanks to her mother, who bribed everyone in authority with sumptuous cakes. She has lived in exile ever since. A re-enacted somnambulistic reflection on ways to cope with painful experiences.
