The entertaining yet serious story of three colourful characters who play an unusual instrument ¬– a tree leaf. Blowing on it they make music, practice very hard, and compete with each other with an amazing passion for this old fashioned self-taught skill. A former private detective who used to work in Germany, a music teacher and amateur inventor as well as a peasant from a Serbian village who knows how to pick the leaves that produce the best sound – they all share the same talent. It’s interesting that the film has been invited to music film festivals as well as to programmes that show social documentaries. Well directed, with strong characters and a great sense of subtle humour.
