But also: getting help from strangers again and again. Unexpectedly experiencing moments of peace and quiet. As an elderly woman, nurse Gretel tells her story of her escape from Silesia to West Germany at the end of World War II. The personal fate of one woman that today still is suffered by thousands in a same manner every day.
