Everything begins with a woman looking from a circus caravan at the magician and his rabbit in the snow. The look is followed by bathing in the nude, a wedding feast as gay as a fair, then the easy companionship of vaulting circus acrobats. All this is conjured out of the hat of the past and the future – because this is about love that lasts a lifetime. Roberto Catani celebrates great and small moments under twinkling stars in a tender and melancholy whirl of colours.
