It’s a departure towards hope, into the unknown, into criminalisation. “I take dem in an’ send dem off” – the much-travelled fateful route from South Sudan leads past human traffickers and torture to European immigration judges. Ng’endo Mukii’s collage of infographics, live action and hand-drawn animation exposes migrant business as usual effectively, directly and ineluctably.
