Every day thousands of children and young people seeking asylum are locked up in immigration detention centres around the world, where filming is absolutely impossible. The immersive animated transmedia documentary features voice interviews of detained children and teenagers and creates symbolic images that give new depth and dimension to what was being said. Users enter the corridors of a virtual detention centre, listen to the voice messages and watch ghostly images appearing projected across the walls, telling the stories of young lives trapped in worlds we cannot access.
